Who we are and what we do
We at Reliance Agro Commodities have enjoyed exponential growth since our inception and currently source and supply a diverse portfolio of products to clients all over the globe. Our core business is Agricultural products sourced mainly from suppliers in the African Continent, which produces much of the world’s food supply.
Agricultural commodities, by their nature, are seasonal products. We therefore deal in several carefully selected products that allow us to meet our customers requirements all year round. We also have key partners in China and South East Asia from whom we source various Textiles and Fabrics as well as Palm Oil and other Vegetable Oil products.
We have sourcing operations with our suppliers stationed in several underdeveloped countries across the globe. As a result, we feel that it is of utmost importance to conduct our business in a manner which is aligned with the sustainable development goals outlined by the United Nations as well as complying with the universal principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
Social and Labour Commitments
We are committed to maintaining compliance with all relevant international norms on social and Labour standards, including the abolition of child labour, compliance with legal provisions on Labour Laws, compliance with minimum wage laws, upholding freedom of association and the rights of Labourers to unionize as well as promoting equality and avoiding discrimination in our employment practices.
Ethical Principles
We are also committed to maintaining the highest standards of Ethical principles in our organization. This includes policies to prevent conflicts of interest, respecting the rules of confidentiality, anti-corruption policies as well as abstaining from gifts and invitations on any level in our company hierarchy. We firmly believe in the principles of conducting business with transparency and honesty, and these values are reflected throughout the hierarchy of our organization.
Environmental Protection
Given that we are source our goods from developing countries where Agriculture is the main source of income for various communities, we are especially conscious of controlling our suppliers’ direct impacts on the ground. We require our suppliers to manage resources rationally and responsibly. We conduct thorough due diligence on our suppliers to ensure that environmentally sensitive aspects of the business such as waste management and compliance with thorough safety standards are taken seriously.

A key goal of our organization is to ultimately uphold the best corporate practices in promoting human rights, employment law, anti-corruption and social and environmental issues.
